A Petite and pretty 18-year-old high-school graduate from Rizal, the youngest of five children of a school librarian and who had to join music bands in order to make a living, emerged as the first Grand Star Dreamer of ABS-CBN 2’s Pinoy Dream Academy.
Crowd favorite Josephine Yeng Constantino earned 697,648 votes from the viewers after hours of musical showdowns on December 16 that ended at 1:30 a.m. on December 17 at the Araneta Coliseum.
Constantino, who is already an accomplished composer (she wrote the hit song “Hawak Kamay”), won P1 million in cash, a condo unit, a car, a multimillion-peso business franchise and home appliances among other prizes.
